Acidam is an acid reaction nitrogen fertilizer containing a high percentage of sulfuric anhydride (SO3). Used in fertigation, it has a disintegrating effect of the chlorides and bicarbonates present in the soil and a descaling action in micro-flow irrigation systems.
The acid reaction of the solution increases the availability in the soil of phosphorus (P) and iron (Fe) blocked on the colloids.
Nitrogen (N) present in both ammonia and urea form, formulated with sulfuric acid, is less washable and more available for plants.
