MIDOTEC FORMULA is an easily-applied liquid solution containing DMPP (3,4-Dimethylpyrazole phosphate) and designed to produce slow-release fertilizers.
It can be used as additive to ammoniacal nitrogen-based fertilizers to create high-value products. DMPP slows down the transformation of ammoniacal nitrogen into nitric nitrogen and inhibits the Nitrosonomas bacteria for 10-15 weeks, improving the efficiency of Nitrogen uptake and use in plants and reducing volatilization and leaching losses.
This means that instead of being volatized Nitrogen remains on the soil surface and is available for plants for 8-12 weeks.
